Objective

The Shirley Ryan 香港六合彩即时开奖 is conducting a research study on tongue movement to develop new diagnostic and rehabilitation methods. Participants will wear a smart mouth retainer and use their tongue to move a cursor on a computer monitor.

The cursor movements will be representing tongue movements.

Help advance our knowledge on tongue movement to design new diagnostic and rehabilitation methods.

Who Can Participate

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • A diagnosis of dysarthria or apraxia of speech and/or limited mobility of the tongue muscle
  • No decisional impairments or oral cavity health-related concerns
  • Capability to perform research task and tongue movements for at least 1 hr.

Compensation

Participants will not receive financial compensation or parking/transpiration reimbursement.

Research Survey: Answer questions about your experience receiving Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS)

The purpose of this study is to test a set of surveys designed to determine if Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) are person-centered. Person-centered HCBS are based on what is important to the person receiving the services and are designed to help the recipient live the life they want to live. In order to determine if HCBS are person-centered, a set of surveys has been developed to measure the person-centeredness (or not) of HCBS.
