Our manual standing wheelchair has been making headlines this week! The wheelchair, engineered at the Center for Bionic Medicine, lets users remain mobile in either a seated or standing position, or any mode in between. The project was supported by a grant from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). See below for a recap of the latest media coverage.
