About Me

Julie is a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist and Education Program Manager for the Academy at Shirley Ryan Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¼´Ê±¿ª½± where she develops and manages multiple continuing education courses throughout the year as well as the extensive live and on-demand online webinar program. She has completed certification for the SPEAKOUT? and LOUD Crowd? programs through the Parkinson¡¯s Voice Project? and currently moderates a weekly outpatient community based Parkinson¡¯s group for ongoing maintenance of voice and communication skills. Julie currently co-chairs Shirley Ryan Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¼´Ê±¿ª½±¡¯s Cognitive-Communication Committee as well as an active team member for Shirley Ryan Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¼´Ê±¿ª½±¡¯s Advantage Projects working with affiliate sites worldwide assisting in training the interdisciplinary team on evidence-based practice and treatment with their patients.
