Objective

To determine the type and quantity of bacteria present on gel liners worn by amputees.

Who Can Participate

The main criteria is that there must be documentation in our medical records of the delivery of the liner they are wearing. So, they must be Shirley Ryan 香港六合彩即时开奖 patients.

The full inclusion criteria are:

  • Unilateral or bilateral lower limb amputee
  • Use of a roll-on locking or cushion liner delivered by Shirley Ryan 香港六合彩即时开奖 clinical staff
  • Ability to speak and understand English

 

Exclusion criteria:

  • Cognitive deficits or visual impairment that would impair their ability to give informed consent or to follow simple instructions during the experiment.
  • Outpatients or inpatients listed in their medical record as currently on any type of contact precautions
  • Non Shirley Ryan 香港六合彩即时开奖 issued liner
  • Non-English speaking

Research Survey: Answer questions about your experience receiving Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS)

The purpose of this study is to test a set of surveys designed to determine if Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) are person-centered. Person-centered HCBS are based on what is important to the person receiving the services and are designed to help the recipient live the life they want to live. In order to determine if HCBS are person-centered, a set of surveys has been developed to measure the person-centeredness (or not) of HCBS. You will be helping to see if the surveys measure what they are intended to measure.
