The University of Northern Iowa offers more than 160 areas of study that are divided among a variety of colleges and departments throughout the university. Your college or department will be your source of truth relating to your area of study. College of Graduate, Research & Online Education (GROE)
The College of Graduate, Research & Online Education (GROE) is committed to growing both graduate and online education at UNI. GROE offers support for faculty and staff in the development of program offerings, as well as support services for our graduate and online learners.
Academic Departments
University of Northern Iowa's academic colleges are housed within the university structure. The colleges include a grouping of departments and schools that offer your major. For example, the Department of Accounting faculty and courses are a part of the accounting department located in the Wilson College of Business.
